Russ Malkin (born 20 March 1960) is a British film producer and creative director. He produced and directed three motorcycle adventure TV documentaries; Long Way Round and Long Way Down[1] featuring Charley Boorman and Ewan McGregor, and Race to Dakar featuring Boorman. The format of these programmes meant that he also made frequent on-screen appearances. This was also the case for By Any Means, starring Boorman, but also featuring Malkin heavily.[2] He also founded the television production company Big Earth.

In 2011 he wrote a book, Big Earth's 101 Amazing Adventures, drawing on his experiences on the Long Way Round, Long Way Down and By Any Means series as well as some of his other favourite adventures. It was published by Transworld.

He has also worked on numerous other television productions including Murder Or Mutiny, the World Wakeboarding Championships and Clothes Show Live for ITV.
